Roselle and Roselle Park, boroughs (towns) in Union county, northeastern New Jersey, U.S., adjoining Elizabeth on the west. Originally part of Linden until 1894, Roselle was settled before the American Revolution; Abraham Clark, one of New Jersey’s signers of the Declaration of Independence, was a native son. Mainly residential suburbs of New York City, both communities have some industry. Manufactures include pumps, paper products, plastics, tools, fire alarms, machinery, and metal products.
