Innuitian Mountains, mountain range in Nunavut, Canada. It extends southwest to northeast across several Arctic islands for about 800 miles (1,300 km) and reaches heights of 6,000 feet (1,830 meters) or more. “Innuitian” is derived from innuit, an alternate spelling of Inuit.
